01. RECEIVING OF LEATHERS/ACCESSORIES Our production process starts with the receiving of leather from our own tannery & others. In order to ensure quality in each aspect we import almost 90% of the accessories used in our leather apparel production 02. QUALITY INSPECTION • Quality is assured at the onset of our production process through: • Strict measures taken for the grading of the received leathers. • Comprehensive quality inspection of all accessories. • Rejecting all defective leathers & accessories. 03. CUTTING The graded leathers are then sent to the Cutting Department where cutting is carried out with the help of Card Board Patterns. The panels of each garment are then numbered in order to ensure quality & eradicate mixing of different panels. 04. QUALITY INSPECTION Quality Inspectors check these numbered panels to validate the cutting quality of garments. The numbering inspection is carried out by: • Laying out all panels of a garment on a table. • Checking the matching, shading, size, & quality of all panels • Checking the marking on all panel 05. STITCHING The Stitching Department receives the numbered panels, which are then stitched through a highly efficient & specialized Chain-system. Optimum utilization of work specialization is achieved by assigning the stitching of different parts to each link in the chain. 06. ONLINE QUALITY INSPECTION Strict measures are taken for assuring quality at each step of the stitching process. These measures are: • Regular production of garments only begins once the first piece made has been checked and approved • Each relevant line-checker ensures 100% inspection of all garments. 07. FINISHING Stitched garments are received at the Finishing Department . Finishing of garments is carried out through various operations like buttoning, sewing, riveting, lining, ironing, trimming, polishing, & touching. 08. PACKING & SHIPPING Gold Panel Group has a highly modern packing facility in which garments can be shipped either ways i.e. flat pack in cartons or hanging by sea and even hanging by air. Our systematic shipping procedures ensure that we have the capability to send shipments to any market in the world by taking the shortest possible time. 09. FINAL QUALITY INSPECTION Before packing, our in-house Quality Inspectors again re-check each garment for its leather quality, stitching, finishing, tagging, marking, etc. 10. RANDOM QUALITY INSPECTION In addition to quality inspection, concerning the minutest details, Quality Inspectors have been appointed who randomly check a garment at any stage of production, even when garments are packed and ready for shipping. The quality attributes that are checked depend upon the stage of garment production. 11. LEATHER PROCESSING PROCESS The processing of leather in Gold Panel Group is a strenuous process right from the selection of the raw hides to the final packing and shipment stages. At GPG strict vigilance & quality checks are assured by trained professionals at each and every stage of our production. The tanning, shaving, triming and the buffing process in a highly skilled manners. 12. WET BLUE TANNING Tanning Department receives the raw skin and hides from raw stores. Tanning involves several processes such as Soaking, Fleshing, Deliming, Bating, Pickling and Chrome Tanning and Piling. The tanning process for skins is completed in 5 days and 7 days for hides. 13. QUALITY INSPECTION Qualified tanners supervise the process for standardized processing and quality control till piling. A separate department of Wet Blue Stores is responsible for visual quality inspection and grading of each and every piece according to the prescribed selection criteria. The skins and hides are stored and issued for production according to different grades. 14. DYE CRUSTING Wet Blue Stores issue the leather against Stitching Units orders for Dye Crusting. Dye Crusting involves several processes such as Sammying, Splitting, Shaving, Trimming, Rechroming, Neutralizing, Fatliquoring, Dyeing, Piling, Setting Out, Vacuum Drying and Drying. 15. QUALITY INSPECTION Dyed Crust leather is 100% inspected according to the prescribed standards for ensuring that the leather is at par with the customer requirement. Any leather not upto the standard is separated. The separated leather is either graded as useable in the same article with further processing or downgraded for some lower grade article. 16. FINISHING Every leather is processed differently depending upon the article. The Chief Technician determines the processes and their sequence. Different finishing processes are Toggle, Staking, Dry Milling, Embossing, Coating, Polishing, Buffing and Spraying. 17. QUALITY INSPECTION During each process Qualified Tanners ensure the quality control of the leather being processed. A separate Final Selection department ensures that the leather is according to the sample provided by the customer. Any rejected leather is separated and divided into re-work and lower grade leather. 18. TYPES OF LEATHER OUR TANNERY PRODUCES Our range of leather materials offered Cow, Buffalo, Goat, Sheep Nappa in different finishes & forms , few leather qualities as following Drum Died Analine , Semi Aniline, Nubuck ,Skipper, Natural Milled , Nubuk Rub off, Pull up, Suede, glazed, Grispy, Crystel, Retro , crispy & all other running leather qualities developed from Cow , sheep ,Goat & Buffalo
